Overview

Youth Glow’s Education & Skills initiative equips young people, educators, and community leaders with the knowledge and practical abilities needed to thrive in today’s world.
Through our community-driven approach, we bridge learning gaps, promote lifelong education, and provide youth and adults with technical, vocational, and digital skills that enhance their economic potential and drive social change.

Our programs connect education to opportunity — ensuring that learning leads to livelihoods, innovation, and resilience in every community we serve.

Program Goals

• Strengthen access to quality, inclusive, and relevant education in rural Liberia.

• Build 21st-century skills in technology, entrepreneurship, and leadership among youth.

• Promote lifelong learning and adult literacy as tools for empowerment.

• Support educators and community facilitators through continuous professional development.

• Foster youth innovation and civic engagement through mentorship and skills networks.

Key Focus Area

1. Essential Learning Pathways: Through the Youth Glow Essentials Learning Program (YGELP), youth and adults receive foundational training in literacy, numeracy, project management, and community leadership, preparing them for jobs or entrepreneurship.

2. Digital & Technical Skills Development: We equip young people with ICT, digital literacy, and vocational skills that open access to global opportunities and prepare them for a modern workforce.

3. Youth Mentorship & Leadership: Our mentorship network connects graduates and professionals to youth, fostering innovation, resilience, and a sense of purpose through guided learning and experience sharing.

4. School Engagement & Lifeskills Training:
   In partnership with schools, Youth Glow delivers soft and life skills programs to strengthen communication, critical thinking, and teamwork among students from grades 1–12.

5. Adult & Continuing Education: We support adult learners—especially women and caregivers—with flexible training opportunities that improve their literacy, confidence, and financial independence.
