Leadership, Advocacy & Data for Change
Our Commitment
At Youth Glow, we believe strong leadership, effective advocacy, and reliable data are the foundation for building empowered communities. Our Leadership, Advocacy & Data for Change program equips youth, women, and grassroots organizations with the skills, voice, and evidence they need to influence decisions and create lasting change.
Why It Matters
In many rural parts of Liberia, community voices—especially those of women and young people—are often left out of decision-making. This leads to policies and programs that fail to address pressing local needs. Without leadership training, advocacy skills, and credible data, communities struggle to make their priorities heard and acted upon.
Our Approach
We empower community leaders, youth advocates, and grassroots organizations to:
Build Leadership Capacity: Deliver hands-on training in governance, financial literacy, project management, and public speaking.
Strengthen Advocacy: Lead awareness and policy campaigns that address critical issues like public health, livelihoods, and women’s rights.
Leverage Data for Change: Collect and use evidence from communities to guide strategies, measure progress, and influence decision-makers.
Impact
175 women and youth trained in VSLA and small business skills through partnerships with FAO, UNDP, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
5,000+ people reached through COVID-19 awareness campaigns in Nimba County, encouraging 2,000+ vaccinations.
Youth engagement programs including computer training and talent hunts implemented in rural communities.
Data collected from 10 districts to track program participation and community health responses.
