At Youth Glow, we restore ecosystems and strengthen community resilience by putting people at the heart of climate action. Our Climate Action & Environmental Restoration program blends local leadership with proven environmental solutions.

Why It Matters
Liberia’s rich biodiversity is under threat from deforestation, unsustainable farming, and climate change—impacting food security, livelihoods, and the environment.

Our Approach
Through peer education and peer-led models, we equip women and youth with skills, tools, and support to:

• Reforest & Practice Agroforestry: Plant native trees, fruit trees, and climate-resilient crops.

• Promote Sustainable Agriculture: Train in eco-friendly farming and water conservation.

• Adopt Clean Energy: Introduce solar, improved cookstoves, and low-emission tech.

• Implement Nature-based Solutions: Protect wetlands, mangroves, and biodiversity corridors.

Impact

• 20+ acres restored

• 325+ trained in eco-enterprise and climate-smart farming

• Beekeeping, snail farming, and clean energy introduced in multiple communities
